Automotive LED leads an new age
According to a survey, the total sales volume in the year 2009 has been up to 60 million, which still has the potential to rise with the fast development of the LED industry. Not long ago, an authoritative institution in America predicted that with the continuous increasing market, especially in Asia, and the continuous reduction of the price, LED lights for auto use will increase sharply at the speed of 15% every year and the sales volume will be twice as the current.
Although the present LED is mainly white light and is back light oriented and lights in the vehicles are mainly occupying 5% to 6% shares, limitations for head lights must be not restricted strictly and there will be an increase in the following years. Besides, potential of the vehicular LED is increasingly large and competition is becoming more and more fierce.
At present, LED lighting technology has been widely used in many automotive ares such as the large lamps on the headstock and the rear lights. It has already presented the tendency of a type of large-scale and applications of it have increased since the rise of productive technology and the reduction of its price.
