Land Rover has unveiled the 2011 Range Rover, which boasts LED car bulbs.

Both Xenon and LED car bulbs are included in the Range Rovers front lamps and the driver can opt for them to turn on automatically when the vehicle is started.

Phil Popham, managing director at Land Rover, said: "Its combination of reduced CO2 emissions and superior engine performance continue to make it a clear industry benchmark."

He went on to say that the addition of the all-new super diesel version to the range sees the Range Rover delivering over 30mpg for the first time.

The vehicle is set to go on sale in the UK in late September.

Earlier this week, it was announced that another of Land Rovers vehicles – the Discovery 4, which has halogen projector front car lights – was named Britains Best Towcar.
